Six years ago XXX and XXXXX XXXXXX commissioned "Tale Tell".

The piece evoked Edgar Allan Poe's sense of perverse mystery.

The idea of what beat underneath the surface was at the heart of it.

Old photos in jars within jars combined with broken glass and dried flowers.

Beets produced the red.

Golden beets produced the gold.

Bugs produced bugs

I produced a spontaneous installation from my childhood experiences.

Peach pits produced uneatable pickles.

Jars within jars.

Images reshaped by the curve of the glass …or magnified …or shrunk.

The heart shape, the beet shape, the centering,

The blood red liquid inside an open jar within a clear liquid.

The cluster of balls …Or are they marbles? …snake egg? …turtle.
