Tadpoles, The Biology of Anuran Larvae

I bought this when it was first released. Although I haven't read it cover to cover (started to but then just grazed) it is excellent. The authors mention their primary reason for putting this book out was the paucity of tadpole information. What as out there was also a hodge-podge based on what each individual author felt was important. They state this book will hopefully be a standard for anyone else who does tadpole work. The standards include terminology, methods and protocols, and data. They then summarize what is known about tadpoles, By and large anyone with a strong interest in anuran biology must have this book as it takes tadpoles to make frogs.
