8 Sept 03

The glass in the lower windows is sandblasted
and clear glass in the windows above.

At the present time the windows are blocked in with temporary blocking.
I am hand milling clear redwood for the final blocking.

Our outdoor shower beside the window that faces our home
still needs the shower head and some small amount of privacy.

The box like structure with a water heater on top is the studio bathroom.

Interior view of atrium doors and windows on either side.
Eventually both woindows and the doors will open onto the greenhouse frogroom.
The grey house you can see through the right window is our home.

31 July 03

Overall view from our patio.
We have had a series of break-ins and robberies around our neighborhood. If you look between the two metal buildings and above my neighbor's wood fence, you can see some plywood on the fence across the light rail tracks. Lastnight this neighbor's place was broken into. They shot his dog three or four times. Killed it. Then stold three motorcycles.

31 July 03

This window will be clad in metal both to integrate it into the metal building and protect the wood from rot.
Today I am considering adding bars to the windows. Hope to find some other solution like big metal shutters.

31 July 03

The bathroom framed in.
I will have the essentials plumbed in soon,
for Chorus visitors and other close friends this studio will double as guest house.
If I can make it safe.
