"Change/Exchange" was an evolving exhibition from the fall of 1997. It took place at
Hickory Street Annex, Dallas, Texas. The first month was an exhibition of small works as
in human scale. The second month I wrangled praying mantises and salamanders, signs bought
from street people, and presented a small portion of the "Third Ward Archive" from
Project Rowhouses. As noted, I have a difficult time separating installation from the rest of my work.
For this format I am drawing a line between the two halves of this "Change/Exchange" project, and saying this EXCHANGE is installation.
