Location - Oshkosh, WI
Water - City tap with PUR water filter attached
submerged/not submerged - not submerged - tinctorius

Location - Marysville, WA
Water - City tap
submerged/not submerged - completely submerged - (17 species of Dendrobates, Epipedobates, Phyllobates)

Location - Patuxent River, MD
Water - Rain

Location - Philadelphia PA
Water - Aged tap water (aged 48 hours and yes they use chloramines) water hard pH around 7.2
submerged/not submerged - Not submerged; If I submerge the eggs to date from tincts, auratus, azureus, and E. tricolor 100% mortality. If I keep the eggs damp with maybe 1/3 to 1/2 egg submerged then less than 20% mortality before hatching. After hatching I would lose maybe another 15%. We are moving to pumilio. E. silverstoni and P. terriblis will let you know how these fair to add more data

"Tinc group" (D auratus, D azureus, D galactonotus, D leucomelas, D tinctorius,) Left with parents until moved by them: D. imitator,D. intermedius, E. tricolor, P. vittatus.

Location - 40 miles west of Chicago, IL
Water - 3 stage RO with Methylene Blue after much frustration (calling in the big guns)
Submerged/not submerged - completely submerged; reticulated auratus, brown spotted auratus, black spotted auratus, green Panamanian, blue Panamanian, and blue/black Auratus; true Alanis tinctorius, powder blue tincs, and luecs.

Location - Geneseo, NY
Water- only distilled water (but water originally comes from lake conesus, high in agricultural runoff)
submerged/not submerged - not submerged; Tinctorius (3 types), auratus (two types), and a few leucomelas and azureus; I have not seen a noticeable difference in tadpole survivorship between locations/water type

Water - 1-2 Weeks aged tap water
Submerged/not submerged - "thumbnail class" frogs are submerged, while everything else is sprayed daily until it is ready to hatch; Dendrobates tinctorius (surinam cobalts, brazilian yellow head, citronella (dot), Ole Marie, Sipaliwinni), Dendrobates azureus, (Purples not regular blues, though I used to do blues) Dendrobates auratus (Kahlua and cream, Green and Bronze), Phylobates aurotaenia (green stripe), Phylobates bicolor, Dendrobates Ventrimaculatus (T- albino), Dendrobates Amazonicus (red and yellow), Mantella nigrican, Phylomedusa hypocondrialis ( tiger leg monkey tree frog)

Location - Dallas, TX
Water - 1/2 & 1/2 aged tap & RO, if mold shows up I make a quart of oak leaf tea and add it to the RO/tap mixture color of mild tea
Submerged/not submerged - completely submerged -1 inch deep in water & paper covered cup and I mist them often to break up the surface and aerate the water.

Submerged/not submerged - completely submerged; D. fantasticus, D. azureus, D. auratus (Panamanian) D. tinctorius Oyapok & Suriname cobalt, D. castaneoticus, D. imitator (note - eggs left with parents and tadpole removed from water source) D. quinquivittatus, D. Pumilio (note - animals listed but not encouraged for newcomers, eggs not touched or tampered with from laying point until froglet stage.)
