four years collection in 15:39 minutes
During the past week to rethink collection in my evolving collecting process of art, I filtered through every image of my art work filed away over the past four years. The images suggesting collection were pulled and filed separately. From the collection file of 5152 images the animation above was edited down to 4618 images. Only the closing image repeats. The fast pace of the animation limits viewing of the individual image or piece and instead focuses the flow of the work. Stepping back now, only three days after making the animation, the emphasis on the repetition worked well at this pace. More images will be added to the collection file soon. And more animations that stretches my edges ~ and wrinkles my skin will come soon.
