Making multiples out of cardboard . . . not the most tactile creative process, but I would argue
that the rituals of collecting privatized nature and violently tearing open carefully constructed
boxes help. Although these rituals don't evoke the same response as being elbow-deep in clay,
they create an equally satisfying emotional response.
