I've been lurking on frognet for a couple years now and have found this forum a great asset for this hobby. I'm 41, live in Bensalem, Pa with my wife and 13yr old son. I have been involved in the hobby for four years now, starting out with Red Eyed tree frogs my son had to have, my collection now includes the 3 original Red Eyes, a pair of Green Mantellas, a pair clown tree frogs, Azureus, Leucomelas, Auratus and Vents. I have successfully bred the Leucs, Auratus and vents. After a rough start in this hobby, things have settled down and I've learned a ton although I still feel I'm in the beginner stage.

Anyhow, I ran across an interesting article regarding disinfections of chytrid infections. It claims that the fungus dies in culture dishes in 96 hrs at a temp of 32C and only 4hrs at 37C. I wonder if this could be an effective treatment for frogs in captivity ? If anyone one wants to review this, here are the links.

Thanks,
