Hi froggers,
I'm Steve Waldron. I was on frognet for a number of years, back
when Anthony Mazeroll still had hair....man that was a long time
ago...
My interests in frogs range from the megacosmic (e.g. FROG as the
universal symbol of fertility and transformation) to the mesocosmic
(e.g. frog biology) and even down to the microcosmic (e.g. I keep a
vivarium too). I've visited the habitats of tropical frogs on a few
occasions, especially lower central america where I dig it the
most.
Right now I'm keeping one lushly planted mini rainforest vivarium
with a young pair of Dendrobates imitator ("Rainer" is the male,
"Mama" is the female)that are in love and have recently started
plastering egg masses to the glass of the vivarium in impossible to
reach places behind cork bark.
oh I'll be at Northwest Frogfest III this year- really looking
forward to seeing some of you there-who else is going? I'll be
giving a talk- "Wat hoppin' mon?: A Poison Frog Natural History of
Caribbean Middle America"
thanks and be well!
may the Frog be with you,
Steve

Hi,
I'm Steve Waldron, though I prefer to just go by "Steve"- it seems
only bill collectors and the law use my last name. I've been
keeping poison frogs for 12 years or so, though I still consider
myself a beginner. I also enjoy a small cloudforest orchid
collection, some unusual rainforest stream tropical fish and
shrimps, long walks on the beach, starry nights and Baskin Robbins
girls. I'm from Northern/Central California. best regards to all
- Steve
