My name is Ryan Ivankovic. I am former biology student who fell in love with Anthropology, and have since changed programs. I attend the University of Waterloo in Waterloo Ontario, Canada. I have been keeping Dendrobatids and Mantellas for almost two years now. I am proud to say that I have had success with breeding Dendrobates auratus, as well as Dendrobates azureus. My fascination and addiction to this hobby, grow stronger every day. There is just something magical about having these little anuran ambassadors and a piece of their rainforest home in the snow-choked country that I live in. I have met a lot of great people as a result of this hobby as well, and I have to thank Mark Pepper for his advice, guidance and fabulous frogs. I am also grateful to have such a valuable resource such as frognet. I will be travelling down to IAD this year with Mark Pepper, so it will be nice to put some faces with the names that I see all the time. I am looking forward to the trip.

Thanks everyone

I have been keeping denrdobatids and mantellas for about a year and a half now. I am happy to say that my first auratus froglet just morphed out yesterday (thanks to Tracy Hicks' tadpole food recipe and Mark Pepper's tips). My fascination with this hobby grows stronger every day. I have met a lot of great people as a result of this hobby, and I have to thank Mark Pepper for his guidance and fabulous frogs.
