Hello,
I haven't done this for awhile so here it goes.My name is Mark Wilson and I
live in the "corn country" of Iowa.I'm 38 years old,married with 2 children
that are very much teenages and one is off to college this fall.She is going
to be a pediatric nurse and I keep telling her to get her crap out of here
room so I can use it for dartfrogs,j/k.My son just turned 16 and is sort of
a jock and this fall will be great watching him play varsity football.My
wife is a home health nurse and also works at a care center we have been
married for almost 11 years and she still considers me one of "the kids".I
have been into this great hobby for a little over a year.I have enjoyed
herps since childhood but seeing a book about the dartfrogs in a pet store
really got me wanting to see them in real life. I researched them for about
2 months before I took the step and there is no turning back now,ask my
wife!!!! Beside the frogs we have a shih tzu,cat,bearded dragon and 2
leopard geckos.I think it was Ben Green that told me about frognet and I
have loved everything about it since I first logged on.I work at a lumber
company that processes most species of hardwoods and work in the kiln
department where we put the lumber on sticks and into the dry kilns.My other
hobbies are bowhunting deer and flyfishing everything.I enjoy tying my own
flies and some day want to try tying some that represent dartfrogs.Getting
up for work at 3:30 am and not getting home until about 4 in the afternoon
doesn't give me much time seeing the frogs wake up at all so I really enjoy
watching them in the morning on weekends.I wouldn't be where I am now in
this hobby without the people here,so big THANK YOU to each and everyone of
you.Frognet is part of my life everyday and I would hate for it to go
away.Even though I lurk most of the time I love reading all the posts.Well,
in a nutshell that is my story.
