Well, sheesh. I guess since everyone else seems to be doing I might as well
go ahead and put in my intro too. :).
My name is not really Mossman it's JP. I live in south Florida and have done
so for over 20yrs. I was introduced to dart in much the same way many others
have been. I walked into a pet store and fell in love. Of course the guy at the
pet shop said, "These are for experts and require a great deal of time and
effort." Being a rebellious youth I scoffed at this and bought my first pair of
d. leucomela. Well, after about two months of constantly trying to culture,
and capture enough food for them, on top of the constant misting, I went back to
the pet shop and promptly sold them back for less than half what I paid.
It has been nearly 8 yrs since that day and, although I was frogless for a
long time, I did get back into them after a long break. I think it is wonderful
that we have such a great source of knowledge such as frognet. Even though I
have been breeding frogs and setting up custom terrariums for a while I still
learn new stuff all the time from posts on the forum.
Currently I have scaled back my collection of darts and only have a handful
of d. pumilio (bastimentos) in the house. I get my fix through the people I
have set up locally as well as through the many people I know and have met from
frognet. I still build custom terrariums and obviously have the terrarium
supply store on frognet and at www.theMossman.com. I also have a lot of friends
locally that breed darts and tree frogs and waxy frogs, and just about everything
else and that is where I get most of the frogs you see on my posts.
I want to say hello to Ken Davenport too. Sup Ken. Hey by the way if you guys
want some killer plants check out Ken's web site @ www.peaceofthetropics.com.
I got some from him for some custom vivs. I did and they were killer.
Feel free to contact me personally I am always willing to help, well I try
anyway. Thanks.
JP
