My name is Ghazanfar Ghori, I've been in the aquarium hobby for 20 or so odd years. I've kept some herps in the past, and have had one vivarium which was a reasonable success. My main interest currently is in planted aquaria. However, I'd like to get back into vavariums and so have started my research. My last effort was in a 29G tank with a potting soil island on one side and a water pool on the other - it was before the poliferation of information via the internet so I now know I'd done several things incorrectly. I even helped start the Greater Washington Herpotological Society, though I don't think that society still exists.

Anyway, my goal...is something like this...

BTW - if anyone is in the DC Metro Area and doesn't mind me calling them or coming over to see their setup and pick their brains, please let me know.

Also, any pointers to good links on plywood vivarium construction would be appreciated.
