I'm a 30 year old writer/artist living in Toronto, Canada. I study wine and work in the hospitality industry to make money, and will open a cafe with a partner when the appropriate property finally presents itself, unless I write a runaway bestseller and make enough money to swim in Cristall and use Louis XIII for mouthwash. Then my plans will change slightly.

I currently house just 13 darts comprising four species (pumilio, azureus, auratus, leucomelas), with plans to house maybe six other species eventually. I also keep Amazon Basin emerald tree boas and a small group of Uroplatus phantasticus.

Although I think the frogs on their own are great, I probably wouldn't keep them if it weren't for the atmospheric appeal of the naturalistic vivaria used to house them. My vivaria have much in common with others, but they're a slight departure from many of the more traditional arrangements of plants and decorative features used by many froggers. These tanks combine my love of minimalist design and habitat authenticity to varying degrees, resulting in arrangements which may appear sparse to people who favour a more lush and riotous look.
