My name is Cindy Dicken, I live northeast of Dallas, Tx. I'm 43, and I am very fortunate to have a better half who is very tolerant of my hobby. Many times he's had to move containers of fruit flys off of the kitchen counter to make his breakfast, or had " feeding duty" while I was out of town, and not to mention having to tip toe through escaped crickets because I didn't put the lid on the cricket bin properly.

I have had animals of some sort as long as I can remember, and have had everything from Sea monkeys to Macaws. A little over 6 years ago I became very interested in these " colorful little frogs".I decided to start with Mantellas due to the fact they were readily available, and a lot more affordable. After a couple of years of raising Mantellas and doing a lot more research on the darts, I purchased my first leucomelas, and I haven't looked back since. Just within the past couple of years, I have started working with some of the thumbnails, what a pleasure!

In January of 2002, after having out grown the house, I opened a small shop and launched our website www.vivariumconcepts.com. Unfortunatly I still have a "real" job that takes up most of my time during the week, but on the weekends I spend my time at the shop playing, er uh, I mean working.

Well that's about all there is to say about myself. I promise not to retire to the shadows.

I recently made Tracy's acquaintance, and I hope to have the opportunity to meet the rest of you one day.

Cindy
