My Name is Bruce Campbell, and I live in San Diego, CA. I've been involved with frogs from as young as I can remember. When I was little we'd visit my Grandparents and they had frogs all over the place. At night toads would hop all over their lawn, and during the day we would get bullfrogs and tree frogs out of the canals. I'm now in my forties, married and have three kids. I work as a Child psychotherapist, but most of my friends just call me a child.

I raised a group of local tree frogs for about ten years. Then I bought some Red eyed tree frogs, but they turned out to be wild-caught and infested with parasites and all died within a few days. Thus I learned the value of captive-bread frogs.

I bought a group of four young Cobalt Tincs in 1999 from Kay Klausing whom I met through Frognet. I began breeding them when they got old enough, and traded some tincs for a group of three Azureus. When the Azureus began breeding I traded some of their babies for a group of Leucomelas.

So now I'm working on breeding all three groups, once the Leucs get old enough.

I've been on Frognet for about 4 and a half years. I mostly "lurk" now since I know most of the basic questions, so I'm not asking much, but I also don't answer much because I know 4 years in Darts doesn't qualify me as an expert, and frognet has plenty of experts. Sometimes I'm envious that I didn't realize Frog Scientist was a valid occupation when I was young enough to major in it. But I'm very thankful for my frogs, and it is very exciting to actually have them breed successfully.
