Brian Corey........ 29 yr old Science teacher in Raleigh, NC. I have been
keeping frogs for at least 10 years, dart frogs for almost as long. By day,
I teach 7th graders the basics of Science (with special emphasis on
amphibians whenever it can be worked in). By afternoon, I spend hours
hanging out in the frog room, feeding, misting, watching, sometimes
sleeping. By night, I'm a martial arts enthusiast that looks to train
whenever possible in Kung Fu and Filipino martial arts. Oh, and I have a
wife, Christine, that supports me in all of these ventures and habits. In
fact, she sometimes pushes me to buy frogs that I otherwise would not have
bothered to buy. There is no set of controls in place for me.......my frog
hobby runs wild in our house. We currently run a website together,
www.geocities.com/frogaddictions
I guess you could say that I'm one of the original frognetters, been on
frognet since the mid 90's. Back then, flame wars were rampant (and kinda
fun), Tor was the Mantella Man, and Azureus couldn't be had for less than
$150; Mint Terribilis were around $200 I believe. There was no such thing
as a "disposable frog" in the hobby at that time. Times have sure changed.
Boy, do I sound old.

BTW, for introduction.... This is Brian Corey. Been keeping and breeding
mantellas, tree frogs & dart frogs since 1994. I've been a member of
frognet (off and on) for almost as long, since about '96. I keep several
morphs of tincs, azureus, leucs, some thumbnails, several morphs of auratus,
a few eggfeeder species, terribilis and auratanea. I am a middle school
Science teacher in North Carolina and have a few other time and money
consuming hobbies aside from frogs. I'm an amateur car restorer, long time
martial artist and instructor, and have recently added day lilies to the
list of interests.
