Hello fellow froggers. After lurking since March, I thought I would go ahead and do an intro and start taking part in some of the conversations here on Frognet(I am definitely not an expert, and like Christina said I don't think our way is the "right" way either, it just works for us).
My name is Amanda Sihler and my husband Greg and I have been keeping/breeding frogs for almost 9 years. We live in Mesa, Arizona (and it is so, so, so hot here). Some of you may know us as AZDR for Arizona Dendrobate Ranch (www.azdr.com). We have 3 daughters - age 6 (on Saturday) and twin, soon to be 4 year olds, somewhere over 70 Frogs, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a whole bunch of Azureus tadpoles.
Greg did an intro several months back, so I won't go into too many details here. We went from having a pretty large collection 4 years ago to only a Leuc tank. In the last year and a half we have expanded our collection once again. We now have a pretty good collection of frogs and they are slowly taking over our whole house (we even have frogs in our girls bedroom).
I have really enjoyed reading the Frognet post each day, and I will try to give input when I feel I can be of any help. Thanks to all those that make Frognet what it is and your hard work. I really enjoyed meeting everyone in attendance at Frog Day and look forward to meeting even more of you at the NWFF.
Thanks
Amanda Sihler
