Well, here goes my intro.
I started in Dart Frogs back in 1988 with some
juvenile auratus while I was a graduate student at
Northern Arizona University. I had those three frogs
until I left NAU (4 years later). It wasn't until
1994 that I started to go into dart frogs big time. I
have kept many different varieties and species of dart
frogs from thumbnails to terribillis.
I have been on and off frognet since it was started by
Anthony Hundt way back in the dark ages. Those days
Tor was still doing mantellas and working for the
conservation core (I believe).
By training I am a fish ecologist. I do most of my
research in the Red Sea and will be starting projects
in the Amazon and another project on brain development
in dart frogs (hence why I had a call for WC auratus a
while back).
I have been a college professor since 1991 and enjoy
the life of leisure I live with my wife in Southern
California.
That is it, short and sweet and not much
substance...such is my life.
