Hello fellow frog fans. After lurking on the list for a long time, I guess
it's time to get involved.
I've been keeping tropical fish for over many years and have bred over 50 species. I hatched my first frogspawn and reared the tadpoles to the morph stage over 40 years ago. A few years ago the amphibian bug bit, and I've slowly built up a collection split about equally between caudates (gotta love those salamanders) and anurans. Last year, a group of Mantella aurantiaca and one of D. tinctorius joined the menagerie. I'm a molecular microbiologist by profession, but the frogs are strictly a hobby. I have a fairly low-tech philosophy to frogkeeping. I've learned a lot and had great fun lurking on Frognet. Now I hope I can put something back.
