Xenopus 2.2: One of the sources of the amphibian extinction event is from humans moving Xenopus all over the world. The Xenopus in this video were captured wild in California and others were captured in the frogs' native environment of South Africa. To eliminate other frogs from their ponds, Xenopus carry a fungus that rots the skin of potential predator frogs. And we humans have carried the Xenopus everywhere changing the environment killing millions of frogs that would have eaten billions of insects.
