Back in DC at the Smithsonian working and researching. The skin of energy bottled up in this process was breaking loose.
Until this point I had focused this research on documenting the scientific specimens with all due respect. While peering into the next layer I found the horrors of H1N1 (the swine flu) pneumonia. And after a few weeks on a respirator the world was changed. Brian swelling left me altered for a long slow recovery process.

Now 32 weeks later I am finally well enough to go back to the Smithsonian and return to working on the physical interpretations of this research project.
The proposal for a large scale installation at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History is coming together now.
